THE PROCESS
After meeting with client, I begin developing the portrait through drawings and color studies. I will send emails with studies to ensure that client approves of the composition.
With the client’s full approval, I begin the final painting on wood panels, or art gallery grade linen primed with Golden gesso or Williamsburg oil ground. Pigments are Michael Harding, Sennelier and Old Holland. I use only the finest materials available to assure your portrait will be archival, museum- or heirloom-quality.
During the process, if client need any change, I would make necessary adjustments without additional cost. However the adjustment must be readily apparent, and easily corrected due to the clarity and communication provided during the sketch and initial stages of the painting process.
